Snow Waz & the 7 Dweebs
(by E. Hyland Maze)

Is this short story, turned novella, becoming an epic (because I can't seem to finish it), for children?  I don't think so.  It started out about a real life situation that I wanted to mask behind the classic fairy tale of Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs.  However, that is the end of the commonality of this work and the Disney Classic you may have seen.  This really happened (to an adult in fairy tale land) and, therefore, it is not for children who may not understand some of the adult humor (not that this is rated X or anything like that - far from it).  I would be just afraid how you might answer your children when they stopped you mid-sentence to ask, "why was Snow's T-shirt too tight?" or, "Why did Dumb Doc spend the night outside, sleeping under Snow Waz's bedroom window?" - you see?  Children should ask those questions.  Children should ask lots of questions.  We just haven't figured out the right answers to those questions, yet.  Maybe, after your first reading of "Snow Waz and the Seven Dweebs" you might find a few of those answers.  Happy reading.  And, thanks.

...because no one has ever seen the inside of one of those fairy tale carriages,
like Cinderella's pumpkin, I thought I would describe what it looks like -
and what goes on in there.

Snow Waz...Chapter Ten
....a funny thing happened on the way to the upload center.  I lost this entire chapter somewhere in cyber space, between servers and firewalls and jump drives and hyper text mark-up language.  So, I have been busy rewriting the chapter from memory - which, especially in fairy tale land, tried my brain and my spirit.  But, let me at least inform you that, at this present time, the carriage of passengers is in peril, and only a hope and a prayer will allow them to survive the recalculations of my memory.
