To All My Girls On Valentine’s Day

You are the rare, precious jewels of this life

Found on the rings of kings and princes

You are the gentle breezes of the day

Making men weak at the knees

You have been strong against the storms

Standing with beauty unscathed

You are the butterflies of the day

Yet, soaring like eagles through the darkest night

You are the pleasures of the morning

Like warm sunshine through clear glass

You are the morning showers

And the early evening baths

Someone very special has captured your heart

But, it is his heart that is stilled

By the wonderful beating of love inside

When you touch him so deeply he cries

But, you are more than that and more to me

Your heart must be divided

By the Lord Himself who loves you more

Than any Valentine you could find

Happy Valentine’s Day, my friends
